The scope of work and level of performance as delineated on the solicitatin are to be costed by the Government as well as interested commercial concerns. The decision to award a contract will be based on a cost comparison which determines whether the work can more economically be performed by contract contractor or Federal employees. Services require include the furnishing of all Personnel, Equipment, Services and Supplies to perform shelf stocking, custodial, and receiving/storage/holding area services for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) commissary store located at Fort Lewis, Washington in accordance with Government's Performance Work Statement (PWS). The base period is 1 January 1996 through 31 December 1996 and includes four (4) one-year option periods. No previous history for contractor performed services exists at this location. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. THE STANDARD INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION NUMBER IS 7389 AND THE BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD IS $5.0 MILLION.
