(415)794-6346. The contractor shall provide all the labor, material,
equipment, necessary fees, permits and other required services to
complete the lobby renovation at the Elko, NV Main Office, in
accordance with the terms and specifications of the solicitation. This
building is a historical building. The construction must be completed
in phases since the Post Office will remain in operation during
construction. The work includes demolition, removal and Interior
Re-modeling of the existing Elko Post Office facility. The estimated
cost of this work is between $200,000 and $300,000. Award will be made
to the responsible offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the
Postal Service. Solicitation packages will be available on May 2, 1995.
There will be a $25.00 non-refundable charge for the solicitation.
Requests must specify the solicitation number and be made payable to
the ''USPS Disbursing Officer'' and mailed to: San Bruno Facilities
Service Office, Attn: John Fraher, 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA
94099-0310. This is a government-owned facility. Requests for the
solicitation must be in writing - no telephone request will be
accepted. Contractor must be able to perform on the site, with its own
organization, work equivalent to at least 12 percent of the total
amount of work to be performed under the contract. Offers will not be
publicly opened. Offerors are encouraged to submit proposals via U S
Postal Service First Class or Express Mail. The number of offers
received, identity of offerors, amount of any one offer, or relative
standing of offerors will not be disclosed until after award of a
