Work will consist of removing and disposing of existing roofing system, but assuring weather tight building at all times. Some asbestos flashing will be encountered. Installation of new roof will consist of the application of insulating concrete, firestop material, 4-ply fiberglass felt and hot bituminous built-up roofing system, all flashing and sheet metal work, coping, roof, walkway systems. Work will be required around roof mounted equipment, such as HVAC, electrical and electronic systems, protection systems, roof drain systems and vent systems. Contract completion time is 40 calendar days; ninety (90) calendar day bid acceptance time required. Solicitation will be available o/a 5/9/95; bid opening will be o/a 6/8/95.
