White, 703-302-7906 The Diplomatic Telecommunications Service Program Office (DTS-PO) intends to issue a solicitation for communication racks. The requirement is a Small Business 100% set-aside. The solicitation will be issued employing FAR 52.232.18-Availability of Funds. The DTS-PO managesa world wide telecommunications network serving the needs of all U.S. Government Agencies represented at U.S. Diplomatic missions abroad. Department of State (DoS) locations are often in remote or isolated sites with less than optimum communications capabilities; therefore, the DOS must insure that continuous communications are provided and maintained at all times. To provide this service, the DTS-PO has a requirement to purchase communication equipment racks. The communication racks shall be manufactured to the exact specifications contained in the solicitation. The specifications are as follows. Height: 218.14 cm (85.88 inches); Width: 58.75 cm (23.13 inches); Depth: 91.44 cm (36 inches). Vendors should submit a Standard Form 129 by COB June 1, 1995 to be placed on the Mailing/Bidders list.
