source sought notice only. Potential sources meeting the general
description as described below should furnish this office with complete
descriptive data to include pricing information. Pricing should be
itemized for each item/acccessory. Equipment must be commercial off the
shelf. A detection system that detects drugs/explosives on any surface.
A device that can be programmed to detect and identify numerous
substancessimultaneously and display the results rapidly. This device
should employ ion mobility spectrometry technology and be portable and
fixed. The system must provide the capability to remotely collect
samples, be AC and DC powered with minimum capacity for 6 hours
continous operation in remote scenario. Testing sensitivity must be 1-5
nanograms for narcotics and 50-200 picograms for explosives. The system
must provide a computer interface and be totally compatible with
commercial hardware and software such as DOS, Wordperfect, etc. See
