70 -- PENTIUM 90 AND PENTIUM 60 SYSTEMS POC Ms. Josephine E Baran 410/962-3536, Purchasing Agent/Dorothy K Roggeveen 410/962-0874 This is a synopsis of intent to place an order against GSA non-mandatory schedule contract number GS00K94AGS5150 PS01 with Gateway 2000 to procure the equipment listed below. No contract award shall be made on the basis of any response to this notice, because the synopsis of intent to place an order against the schedule contract shall not be considered a solicitation document. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be honored. Written responses, including GSA contract number (if applicable), complete pricing information and technical data insufficient detail to determine the offeror's capability of meeting the requirement must be received by this office within 15 calendar days from publication of this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, an order will be placed with the above named vendor against their current GSA schedule contract. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
