C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEER (A-E) SERVICES FOR INDEFINITE DELIVERY/QUANTITY (OPEN-END) MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL DESIGN CONTRACT, SOL F16602 95 R0015. DUE 053195. Contact SrA. Synopsis Control No A-12 An indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery (open-end) mechanical/electrical design contract will be issued for a period of one year with a one year option-period. The maximum amount per each delivery-order is $299,000.00. The cumulative amount of delivery-orders will not exceed $750,000.00 for the basic year and $750,000.00 for the option-year. Delivery-orders will be issued from time to time as the need arises during the contract period--a minimum of $5,000.00 in fee work will be issued. Design services required will be primarily mechaincal/electrical related projects, including preparation of drawings and specifications to meet all of the most-current regulations. Projects may also include civil/structural and architectural disciplines normally associated with renovation. The services are required for design of repair, renovation and minor construction projects including preparation of drawings and specifications. Specifications and other reports when requested, must be provided in hard copy and on 3.5 inch high-density IBM Word version 6.0 for Windows (CSI FORMAT). Drawings, when requested, must be provided in AutoCAD format. Firms should describe their computer/word-processing capabilities in their submittals. Designs may need to include provisions for asbestos/lead removal. A-E selection will be limited to firms submitting Standard Forms (SF) 254 and 255, and will be based solely on these forms. Significant evaluation factors in order of relative importance are as follows: (A) Experience, (B) Capability, (C) Workload, (D) Location, (E) Prior DOD Awards, (F) Dollar Value of Prior DOD Awards, (G) Number of DOD Projects During Current and Previous Three Fiscal Years.
