J -- MAINTENANCE OF SIEMENS MEDICAL EQUIPMENT SOL DAKF40-95-R-0019 DUE 070195 POC Contract Specialist, ROBERTA RICHARDSON, EXT 228, (910)396-4362 This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Siemens Medical Systems, 7320-B Parkway Drive, Hanover, Maryland 21076 for renewal maintenance of two (2) each Siemens Gamma Scanner Radiation Systems during the period 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996 with two (2) option years, under the authority of FAR 6.302. Equipment consists of one (1) each Digatac 7500 and one (1) each PHO-Gamma LFOV systems to include components located at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Response to this notice will be used to determine whether bonafide competition exists and whether a formal solicitation is appropriate. Responses must be in writing, including prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement, and must be received by this office within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that comparable sources more advantageous to the Government are available, a contract will be negotiated with Siemens Medical Systems. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Due to automation of the Bidders Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the list. It is therefore, required that all responses/requests include the vendor's business size. For determining business size, the Standard Industrial Code for this project is 7629, and to be considered a small business under this code you may have had no more than $5.0 million dollars in annual revenues over the past three years.
