The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occassions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-95-G-6306 with General Systems Solutions, 1353 Goldstar Highway, Groton, CT 06340. Orders will be issued for: Engineering Change Kits; Repair, Restoration, and/or Modification Services; Maintenance Support Material; Installation and Checkout Kits; and Engineering Services. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. (c) (1). General Systems Solutions (GSS) is the sole designer and manufacturer of the A/N37U-1 Moored Mine Clearing Set. As such, GSS is the only company which currently possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment requirement to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders comtemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
