Proko, (215)897-5419 The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia, is seeking sources interested in providing Medical Administrator Services for the Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity, Pensacola, FL. Under the anticipated contract, The Administrator will provide HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATION SERVICES for a group of foreign military personnel assigned to training and training supervisory and support duties in the United States, and their authorized dependents at approximately 15 geographic locations. The Medical Administrator will provide a claim system for the submittal of claims by various health care providers, screen the claims to determine if the coverage under the benefit conforms to the charges that are considered to be reasonable and customary and promptly pay the provider accordingly. It is expected that the eventual solicitation would require a technical proposal in order to demonstrate the offeror's ability. The ultimate contract is expected to consisit of a base period of twelve (12) months plus four (4) option years. It is anticipated that a Fixed Price Requirements / Cost No-Fee type contract would result from the evenual solicitation. The responses received to this synopsis will be used to determine whether there is sufficient interest to warrant the issuance of a competitive solicitation. It is anticipated that a pre- solicitation conference will be held with interested firms responding to this synopsis. The time, date and location of such a pre-solicitation conference will be determined at a later date. Responses to this synopsis should be received at this Center no later than 15 May 95.
