The U.S. Army Missile Command anticipates the issuance of a sole source solicitation for a proposal from Loral Vought Systems, P.O. Box 650003, Dallas, TX 75265-0003 for a proposed fixed price major production contract. Estimated date of award is December 1995. The contract will require the production of 40 each MLRS launchers with annual options through calendar year 1997 for additional launchers, tactical rockets and practice rockets. The production of the supplies herein requires a substantial investment and an extended period of performance for manufacture. Principal place of performance will be Camden, AR. (0123)
