Box 25046, MS 204B, Denver Federal Center, Denver, CO 80225 66 -- SUSCEPTIBILITY METER SOL RFP 5-6062 DUE 062095 POC Grace S.
Oakeley, Contract Specialist, (303) 236-5900 x406 Magnetic
Susceptibility/Anisotropy High Speed Measurement System, shall include
measurement coils; up/down control unit; measuring unit; controlling
software for IBM compatible PC; interconnecting cables; furnace system
(for use with instrument) and instruction manual. The instrument is a
sensitive laboratory susceptibility meter capable of measuring the
bulk magnetic susceptibility of geologic materials at ambient
temperature and at elevated temperatures (to ) 700 degree C) and of
measuring the anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility. The instrument
shall accommodate samples formed as cubes (2 x 2 x 2 cm) and as
cylinders (2.54 cm in diameter and 2.2 cm in length). The instrument
shall be driven by software compatible with an IBM personal computer.
