This is a market survey to locate sources for enhancement of the Inventory Manager's Assistant (IMA) expert system. IMA is currently is use to aid Inventory Managers in the analysis of requirements determination studies developed by the Requirements Determination and Execution System (RD&ES). IMA has been accepted as a US Army Standard Information Artificial Intelligence (AI) system and this effort shall develop an enhanced AI operational prototype to be implemented by the Army in the Commodity Command Standard System (CCSS) environment. The following tasks are included: Correction to return rates; Display correct Economic Retention Quantity and Maximum Retention Objective Quantity; Resimulation of Unserviceable Return Rates for Multiple Customer Areas; Acces to the Program Data File (PDF); Correct Simulation/Average Monthly Demand on provisioning items; Generation of National Stock Number Master Data Record (NSNMDR) transactions; Provide detailed written descriptions and flowcharts documenting IMA logic for ongoing maintenance/enhancements by Systems Information Management Activity (SIMA).
