Donyale DeShazo, Negotiator, (703) 325-0847, Edward Archer, Contracting
Officer, (703) 325-5028. The Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) has a
requirement for engineering development support and initial production
capability for a handheld gas chromatograph. The chromatograph will be
able to provide near real-time monitoring capability for volatile
chemical weapons agents and related chemicals during inspections
conducted under the provisions of the Chemical Weapons Convention. This
effort will demonstrate the ability of the production version of the
handheld gas chromatograph to meet the operational requirements of the
Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Technical
Secretariat. Further, this effort will provide the technology transfer
from a developmental effort to a manufacturing capability to ensure
the commercialization of the handheld gas chromatograph at a level
sufficient to achieve and sustain the operational requirements of the
Technical Secretariat. This is a total small business set-aside.
Requests for copies of the RFP must be submitted in writing and include
a point of contact, phone number, and fax number. Telephone requests
will not be considered. For information contact Donyale DeShazo at
