ICF Kaiser Hanford Company (ICF KH) is requesting proposals for the Installation of an Automated Data Processing (ADP) Network Fiber Optic Cabling System for the Department of Energy's Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL), Richland, Washington. This will be a Two-Step Sealed Bid procurement. This contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to install and test the ADP Network Fiber Optic Cabling System. The cabling system consists of twelve element composite multimode/singlemode optical fiber distribution cables (approximately 100,000 feet in total length) running from connectorized user outlets located throughout the facility (approximately 600 total) to intermediate connection points. Each distribution cable will be fusion-spliced at these intermediate connection points to high pair-count feeder cables (approximately 60,000 feet in total length) that run to the Network Communications Hub. Each feeder cable will terminate on a High Density Non-Connectorized Patch Panel in the Network Communications Hub. Other individual feeder cables will be installed to dedicated Computer Laboratories located throughout the facility, and an external composite multimode/singlemode cable will be installed (approximately 2,000 feet in total length) to a neighboring facility. Cable tray, conduit, equipment cabinets, and associated infrastructure components, active electronics patch cords and drop leads are not included in this contract. The approximate cost of this fixed price contract is in the range of 1 to 4 million dollars. The contract duration will be approximately two hundred and seventy calendar days (270) from receipt of written notice to proceed.
