HQ Forces Command (FORSCOM) intends to procure through full and open competition using a cost plus award fee solicitation for the operation of five United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) regional training sites-medical (RTS-MED). The contractor shall provide on-site services to operate the RTS-Medical sites at Fort Chaffee, AR; Fort Devens, MA; Fort Gordon, GA; Fort McCoy, WI; and Camp Parks, CA. The site facilities will be used for training United States Army Reserve (USAR) medical units in the use of deployable medical systems (DEPMEDS) and related equipment. The sites will provide collective training, sustainment training, evaluation of training, mobile training teams, and observer/controller functions. The sites will also train personnel and units of active component, and other services (both military and non-military). The contractor will be responsible for the conducting of training, administration and supply support, organizational level maintenance of tactical non-medical equipment, all maintenance of site medical equipment, and direct support/general maintenance of biomedical equipment on a geographical basis. Performance will be for a base period plus four one year options. FAR clause 52.237-3 ``Continuity of Services'' is included. The planned release date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) is Mid-June 1995. A site visit and a pre-proposal conference will be held with the exact location, date and time to be determined. The request for the RFP must be in writing accompanied by a non-refundable certified check, cashier's check or money order payable to the US Treasury in the amount of $50.00 per package.
