R - The U.S. Department of Education (ED), seeks to a procure a contractor to operate the National Clearinghouse of Bilingual Education (NCBE). The purpose of NCBE is to provide information to practitioners and entitles such as DOE, SEA, and LEA's information on Bilingual Education. In fulfilling its function of collecting, analyzing, synthesizing and disseminating information about effective programs for linguistically and culturally divers learners, the principal objective of the Clearinghouse shall be to assist that Office of Bilingual Education and Minority Languages Affairs to organize, articulate and disseminate the knowledge base of serving those learners. It shall meet this objective by playing a central role in a national network of technical assistance providers. The Department anticipates one contract from this procurement.
