Z -- REPAIR HVAC SYSTEMS, VARIOUS BUILDINGS SOL F19650-B0004 DUE 063095 POC Janet L. Maille, Contract Specialist, 617-377-2463. This project involves the repair and/or replacement of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems in four buildings on Hanscom AFB. The principle items of work include, but are not limited to: Asbestos Abatement; Sheet Metal; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Refrigerant Piping; Electrical; Suspended Ceiling Installation; Structural Carpentry, Roofing; Direct Digital Controls; Earthwork; and Paving. The Replacement of the System in Building 1520 will constitute the basic bid item. Building 1217, 1618 and 1810 will each constitute separate options containing similar work to the basic bid. There are additional bid options for installation of Johnson Controls Network Control Units and hubs, which include the Direct Digital Control Panel, Application Specific Controllers, Unitary Controllers, AHU Controllers, and VAV Terminal Unit Controllers for each building. In addition, there are additional bid options for as-built drawings on a Computer-Aided Design system. Each bid item (CLIN) will have its own period of performance. No CLIN will exceed 180 calendar days. The time to complete the entire project will depend on the CLINs awarded and dates of Notice to Proceed on each CLIN. Some CLINs may be worked on simultaneously, and some CLINs will be phased. An exclusionary period will not be applied to the work. Much of this work will be required to be accomplished after normal working hours. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a firm fixed price contract. The Specifications, Statement of Work, and Drawings will be included in the Invitation for Bid (IFB) F19650-95-B0004.
