Repair of miscellaneous precast concrete walls and structural components; repair and reinstall damaged existing steel catwalk in front of traveling water screens. The work also includes repair by replacement of eight (8) butterfly valve operators with new on all butterfly valves for the 36-inch diameter condenser water inlet/outlet for units 4 and 5; restoration of related system components damaged during the repair/replacement and ancillary work for a complete and usable facility. Final design submission is due 118 days after award. No construction shall commence prior to the government approval of the contractors proposed final design. Overall performance period, including design and construction, is 403 calendar days. The proposed contract listed is being considered for 100 percent set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer above, evidence of capability to perform a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns,the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice.
