Z -- ACM ABATEMENT AT DOVER AFB DE SOL F07603-95-B8217 DUE 062295 POC Robert Smith, Contract Specialist, 302-677-5208. The project consists essentially of, but not limited to, the removal and disposal of asbesots containing materials from various facilities, including Military Family Housing, on Dover Air Force Base, Delaware as ordered by the Contracting Officer. Work will be accomplished in both occupied and unoccupied facilities. The prime contractor shall be perform 90% of the contract work. The Government Contracted Certified Industrial Hygienist will be responsible for asbestos plans and area monitoring in accordance with the contract specifications. This solicitation will result in an indefinite delivery contract. Estimated contract performance period is 365 calendar days with one (1) initial year and two (2) option years. The contract performance period for the initial year will be from date of award through 30 Sep 95. The performance period for each work request will be negotiated. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 per year. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1799. This solicitation is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should as soon as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement without further notice.
