Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and material, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish work consisting of, but not limited to, exterior roof repairs and painting for all exposed exterior surfaces. Surfaces shall include stucco, wood, and metal. Specific items to be repaired and painted include plywood and stucco panels, siding, flashings, gutters and downspounts, eaves, soffits, doors, windows, window sills, porch framing, handrails, steps and column bases. Also included within the Project Scope are repairs to steel lintels, replacement of porch screens, cast-iron downspount boots and exterior sealants. Lead containing paint have been identified and shall be handled per the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) interim guidelines for the handling of lead-based paints in Government and Indian housing. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This acquisition will be set-aside for SDBs; however, business concerns other than SDBs are invited to bid. If at time of bid opening, SDB bids are determined to be more than 10 percent above the fair market price (reference DFARS 219.502-2-70 (A) (2)), this acquisition will be converted to unrestricted. Firms that are not SDB shall indicate whether they are women owned and if they are small or large businesses for clarification. Firms should indicate if they are interested as a prime, subcontractor, or as a supplier.
