Foreman, (405) 954-7894 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for Racal Datacon's Network Analyzer, P/N 4407-21C101U. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3825. These supplies are only known to be manufactured by Racal Datacom, 1601 N. Harrison Parkway, Sunrise, FL 33323-2899, because this specific unit must meet complete systems compatibility of form, fit, and function which was designed and incorporated into the Westinghouse Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR-9). The FAA does not have the proprietary data, specification or drawings necessary to manufacture this item. Offerors shall demonstrate system compatibility by submission of a complete specification package, data, and performance criteria meeting the original equipment manufacturers proprietary performance capabilities. They shall submit this data to the contracting officer named herein with clear and convincing written proof of system compatability verified by the ASR-9 system manufacture within the time limits stated below. Other concerns having the ability to furnish the above property/services are requested to give written notification (including the name and telephone number of a point of contact) to the procuring office listed in this notice, with reference made to market survey file # CO94-5-65362, within 45 calendar days from the date of this publication. Responses should provide information regarding the ability of your concern to satisfy the Government's requirement. All responses to this market survey will be considered prior to further acquisition action by the Government. Any information received as a result of this announcement will not be provided to other contractors and will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
