The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD), has a requirement for two (2) DEC 7000 Model 710 OpenVMS server systems with an option for a third system. Request for Proposal (RFP) N00178-95-R-4030 will request proposals on a specific make and model basis for the following DEC model numbers (basic quantity/option quantity): 2T-7KARD-MA (2/1), H9702-FB (2/1), 2T-CIXCD-Ra (2/1), 2T-BA350-SF (2/1), BN21H-01 (2/2), RZ28-VA (10/14), BNCIa-20 (2/6), 7HATA-MC (0/2), MS7AA-DA (0/2), BNCIA-10 (0/6), BNCIa-45 (0/6), QL-MT3A9-BG (2/1), QL-2A1AQ-AA (1/1), QL-MUZaQ-AA (1/2), QL-MV1AQ-AA (1/2), QL-MU7AQ-AA (1/2), QL-0J8AQ-AA (1/2), QL-MVSAQ-AA (1/2), QL-063AQ-AA (1/2), QL-0JKAQ-AA (1/2), QL-0JMaQ-AA (1/2), QL-MT2AQ-6F (0/1), and QL-MVTAQ-AA (0/1). The systems to be acquired are to replace existing DEC VAX computer systems running the OpenVMS operating system; the replacement systems must operate on the OpenVMS operating system and must maintain compatibility with existing computer programs. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or about 26 May 1995; proposals will be due 30 days after the RFP is released.
