The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) has a requirement for the following component parts to upgrade two Control Data Cyber mainframe computers: DAS Controller with 19'' tray - 1 EA, Second DAS Controller - 1 EA, Peripheral Expansion Cabinet - 1 EA, 19'' Tray with 8-2GB Disks - 3 EA, Channel IPI-3 Pack - 1 EA. The AFFTC intends to negotiate a contract with Control Data Systems Inc., Government Systems, 5777 W. Century Blvd., Suite 1600, Los Angeles, CA. 90045 in accordance with FIRMR201.39.6, unless responses to this synopsis reveal other sources capable of satisfying this requirement. Interested contractors must submit clear and convincing documentation that fully demonstrates their capability to provide these component parts. Requests for solicitations which fail to provide the required capability demonstration will not be acknowledged. Solicitation will be released on or about 20 MAY 95, with a 30 day proposal period.
