The U.S. Army Missile Command has a requirement entitled Army Tactical Missile System (Army TACMS) - BAT Program Support for the Army TACMS-BAT Project Office. This includes program networking and scheduling; risk management planning and assessment; milestone/program review planning and support; program planning and assessment; international program support; team Army TACMS-BAT support; command, control, communication, computers and intelligence systems; exercises and test and evaluation; database support; reliability scoring and asssessment; software quality assurance support; systems support and analysis; test and evaluation; configuration management and special studies. A Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Level of Effort type contract is contemplated. The period of performance is award through 12 months for the base effort of 50,668 manhours with surge option of up to 9,285 manhours. The effort will contain a second year 12 month option for 45,795 manhours with a surge of up to 9,285 manhours; third year 12 month option of 43,350 manhours with surge up to 9,285 manhours; fourth year 12 month option of 44,391 manhours with surge up to 8,252 manhours and fifth year 12 month option of 45,564 manhours with surge up to 10,315 manhours. The SIC code for this effort is 8731. This requirement is being offered to the Small Business Administration (SBA) for limited competition among eligible 8(a) firms. Section 8(a) firms interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation should request a copy in writing as expediously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(a) Program.
