The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, in Dallas, Texas, plans to issue a solicitation for the construction of a multi-purpose building at the Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, Texas, which is a one story structure and contains an area of approximately 5,000 square feet. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to accomplish the placement of a reinforced concrete slab and foundation; erection of an 80' x 60' pre-engineered steel building with an attached, covered, masonry colonnade; and rough-in of gas, electric, water, sewage, utilities, phone, computer, and alarm communication systems. The owner will complete finish site grades, utility and equipment connections, HVAC, lighting and interior finish out following the completion of this contract. The construction cost is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation #235-0032 will be available on or about May 23, 1995. A pre-bid conference is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 7, 1995, at 1:00 PM, in the visiting room located at the Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, Texas.
