Exercise of Lot 3 Production Option for the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Warhead Replacement Tactical Telemetry (WRTTM) Systems. The anticipated quantity is 125 WRTTMs. The AMRAAM JSPO awarded a basic contract with production options for WRTTMs to Harris Corporation, Government Aerospace Systems Division, Melbourne FL 32902. Because Harris is the design agent and developer of the WRTTM, it is the government's intent to go sole source to Harris Corporation and exercise the Lot 3 production option. The criteria used to evaluate potential sources includes Design knowledge/Expertise, Specific Gulf Range Drone Control Upgrade System (GRDCUS) knowledge, Over-the Horizon Termination System knowledge, and the capability to produce WRTTMS at this time.
