Synopsis Number: 0188-95--The U.S. Army Missile Command intends to procure Depot Maintenance Plant Equipment (DMPE) for repair of the AVENGER Terminal Data Processor, Thermal Imaging System, and their components. The hardware will be procured under a Firm Fixed Price Contract Line Item Number (CLIN); and the engineering services effort will be procured under a Cost Plus Fixed Fee CLIN. The basic contract will be awarded for the procurement of hardware, spares and 2128 manhours of engineering services. The contract will also contain a 2128 manhour engineering services option for the second year, plus a 2000 manhour range option that will be exercised, if required. The period of performance is 24 months from contract award. The AVENGER TDP contains limited and proprietary rights to Boeing and their subcontractors. The Terminal Data Processor, part number 4005193, and the Thermal Imaging System, part number 4005192 are subassemblies of the AVENGER Weapon System and are produced by Magnavox, a subcontractor to Boeing. The engineering drawings and other technical data required to effect repair of the Terminal Data Processor and Thermal Imaging System are protected by ''Limited Rights'' statement. Therefore, Magnavox is the only source available that has the test equipment and procedures capable of performing depot level repairs to unserviceable Terminal Data Processor and Thermal Imaging Systems.
