Synopsis Number: 0187-95--The U.S. Army Missile Command intends to procure Depot Maintenance Plant Equipment (DMPE) for repair of the AVENGER Sighting System Antenna, Sight Electronics Subsystem and their components. The hardware will be procured under a Firm Fixed Price Contract Line Item Number (CLIN); and the engineering services effort will be procured under a Cost Plus Fixed Fee CLIN. The basic contract will be awarded for the procurement of hardware and spares, plus 2464 manhours of engineering services. The contract will also contain a 2464 manhour engineering services option for the second year, and a 2000 manhour range option that will be exercised, if required. The period of performance is 24 months after contract award. The AVENGER TDP contains limited and proprietary rights to Boeing and their subcontractors. The Sighting System Antenna, part number 89220-2200-1 and the Sight Electronics Subsystem, part number 8922-2600, are subassemblies of the AVENGER Weapon System and is produced by CAI, a Division of Recon/Optical, a subcontractor to Boeing. The engineering drawings and other technical data required to effect repair of the Sighting System Antenna and the Sight Electronics Subsystem are protected by ''Limited Rights'' statement. Therefore, CAI is the only source available that has the test equipment and procedures capable of performing depot level repairs to unserviceable Sighting System Antenna and Sight Electronics Subsystem.
