The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a fiber optically coupled, intensified CCD camera system to be used to record two-dimensional images of laser-induced soot incandescence in a spray flame. Descriptive literature will be required to demonstrate that offered products meet or exceed all salient characteristics of the specifications to be included in the solicitation. Specifically, the system will consist of the following components: (1) integrated CCD camera head including intensifier, high voltage electronics, 576X384 CCD array, thermoelectric cooler and preamplifier, UV-NIR enhanced response (180-800) nanometer, (2) high speed camera controller module with 12 bit 1MHz and 16 bit 150 KHz A/D converters, (3) programmable gate pulse generator for intensifier, and (4) an image acquisition and analysis software package. Delivery will be required within 60 days after contract award. It is anticipated that the type of contract will be firm- fixed-price.
