68 -- SOLVENT, ULTRA-PURE PRECISION CLEANING AGENT SOL N00164-95-R-0164 DUE 062695 POC Contact - Terry Davis, 812-854-3704, telefax 812-854-3465 or Mr. Doug McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires 11,000 gallons ultra-pure precision cleaning solvent (CFC-113) to be manufactured in accordance with MIL-C-81302D. Additionally, the solvent must contain a maximum of parts per billion silicone as measured by quantitative infrared spectroscopy at 1260 reciprocal centimeters and at 800 reciprocal centimeters. The CFC-113 shall also contain a maximum of .0200% (by weight) HCFC-122 and a maximum of .0500% (by weight) HCFC-123 as measured by gas chromatography; a variation of plus or minus 1% shall be allowed. The material shall be packed in new 55 gallon steel drums internally coated with two coats of phenolic epoxy.
