The U.S. Department of Energy along with the Environmental Protection Agency is conducting an investigation through the Innovative Concepts Program to discover innovative solutions to current industrial problems. Focus areas include low cost adsorbents for recovering metals from waste streams, development and joining of lightweight metals and alloys for vehicle applications, and up to 10 grants will be awarded for each topic. Recipients will receive an opportunity to showcase their concepts and network with investors. They will also receive professional commercialization training and development of promotional literature.
