The CIP provides for the engineering support and testing to improve safety and readiness and increase mission effectiveness for the AV-8B and T-45 propulsion and power systems. Rolls-Royce is the sole developer and manufacturer of the F402/F405 engines and is the only known source with the unique experience and technical data required to perform this effort.
