Benson, Contracting Officer at (404)842-6790 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates making more than one award to obtain information in the area of organized health care delivery and effective prevention strategies through the conduct of assessment studies. These studies fall within the general areas of; (a) Policy Assessments, (b) Program Assessments; and (c) Evaluation and Design Assessments. To be eligible for award of a contract, each offeror MUST meet the following Absolute Criteria for Eligibility: Demonstrated ability to include health maintenance and managed care organizations in a variety of geographic areas in the United States that serve largely a diverse populations, including the underserved and persons on Medicare and Medicaid. Offerors may submit a proposal in the areas of (a) Policy Assessments, (b) Program Assessments, and (c) Evaluation and Design or anyone or a combination of (a) Policy Assessments, (b) Program Assessments, and (c) Evaluation and Design. The Government contemplates a cost-plus fixed fee contract with a five-year period of performance. The scheduled issue date of the RFP is approximately May 26, 1995. RFP due date is approximately 45 days after release. All responsible sources that meet the above requirements may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency.
