procurement is to revise the 1985 release of the Emergency Medical
Technician-Intermediate and Emergency Medical Technician
Paramedic-National Standard Curriculum and to develop accompanying
refresher programs for each. The revised curriculua, will evolve from
the 1994 Emergency Medical Technician-Basic: National Standard
Curriculum, and utilize the same instructional design, and format
template. The content will be based on the National EMS Education and
Practice Blueprint and the 1994 Practice Analysis will be used as
reference where applicable. The proposed contract will be awarded with
a period of performance of twenty-four (24) months on a cost
reimbursable basis. The solicitation will be mailed to those
organizations responding in writing to this announcement. Written
request for this solicitation must be accompanied by two (2)
self-addressed mailing labels. The anticipated issue date of the
