Specialist,(703) 602-7501 X 647. The Naval Sea Systems Command Combat
Systems Division (SEA 91K)/Aircraft Carrier Program (PMS 312)/ Program
Executive Office-Theater Air Defense (PEO TAD)/Combat Systems Design
and Enginering Group (SEA 03KQ)/DRPM AEGIS (PMS400) have a requirement
for providing combat system engineering, integration, and program and
technical support in the areas of surface ship acquisition and
modernization, new ship systems program engineering, foreign military
sales and for assessing technical/engineering evaluations,
architectural investigations and GFI such as operational requirements,
functional characteristics, performance predictions, cost and
feasibility reviews, specifications, interface requirements,
engineering change proposals, and logistics documentation and data. The
requirement is currently being provided under N00024-90-C-5208.
Engineering services will be for one base year and four 1-year options.
The total requirement is for approximately 1,447,500 hours of effort;
289,500 for the base year and 289,500 hours for each of the four option
years. This is a competitive procurement with no restrictions. Primary
effort will be performed at the Contractor's facilities located within
a 10-mile radius of the Naval Sea Systems Command HQ currently located
in Arlington, Virginia and have a facility clearance up to and
including SECRET and NATO SECRET material. Specifications will be
contained in RFP N00024-95-R-6403. The solicitation will be posted on
the INTERNET 26 May 1995. A limited number of hardcopies will be
available on a ''first come, first served'' basis beginning 26 May 1995
at Naval Sea Systems Command, Zachary Taylor Office Building, National
Center Building 3, 2531 Jefferson Davis Highway, NAVSEA Industry
Liaison Office, Room 5E40, Arlington, Virginia. A viewing copy will be
maintained at all times. Electronic access to solicitation
