Synopsis No. 0175-95 - The U.S. Army Missile Command has a requirement for a sole source acquisition of FY96 - FY98 HELLFIRE Missile System Engineering Services and Longbow HELLFIRE Cost Reduction Initiative (CRI) from Martin Marietta Technologies, Inc./Westinghouse Electric Corporation HELLFIRE Joint Venture. The basic contract will contain a total of 237,676 manhours for FY96 and three years of options totaling an additional 544,905 manhours. The engineering services will include program management, engineering, product assurance, logistics, configuration management and test/evaluation effort relative to isolating/resolving problems with the HELLFIRE Missile System. The CRI will provide for continued implementation of the Longbow HELLFIRE Cost Reduction Program.
