Upgrade O&C elevators 2, 3, and 4 at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The work for this project consists of furnishing, installation and testing of one (1) PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) based Hydraulic Elevator Control System per elevator in the Operations & Checkout (O&C) Building. The existing relay controllers are to be replaced with a NEMA 12 enclosure. The existing doors shall include replacement of the door controls, hoist ways door and car gibs for each elevators. Three fire alarm systems and a fire alarm panel shall be provided for each elevator. Funds are not presently available for this project and award is contingent upon availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made FAR 52.232-18, ''Availability of Funds (APR 1984),'' is hereby incorporated by reference. Magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of performance is 210 days after notice to proceed.
