Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE-CONSTRUCT REACTION FORCE FACILITY GALLEY ADDITION, NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE, KINGS BAY, GEORGIA SOL N62467-94-B-7751 DUE 072595 POC ROICC Kings Bay, Plan Issue Section - (912) 673-2670 This work includes construction of a cast in place single story addition to the existing Reaction Force Facility. The walls, roof, and floor are cast in place concrete. The interior walls and ceiling will be gypsum wallboard and/or cement board. Mechanical work includes connecting to existing plumbing and relocation of kitchen equipment. Electrical work includes installing new electrical service for the new galley area, installing new lights, outlets, and adding new lightning protection and other incidental related work. The estimated cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid opening is projected for 07/25/95. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 06/21/95. Contract duration is 180 calendar days. The standard industrial classification code is 1541 and the average annual size is $17.0 million. The procurement listed herein is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 05/26/95, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office listed above evidence of capability to perform; including performance and credit references, former contracts of similar size and complexity, bonding capability, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. Even if you have sent evidence of SDB eligibility on a prior contract, you must submit documentation that will become a part of this solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice.
