Rupard, Contract Specialist (816) 426-3103 This is a notice of the government's Intent to Award to Southern Avionics Company; Box 5345; Beaumont, Texas 77726-5345 for the purchase of six (6) self-supporting (34 to 45 ft.) mast NDB antenna systems with grounding system counterpoise to include a minimum of sixteen (16) 60 ft. radial grounds. Fold down capability required for de-icing purposes. No long wire symmetrical T acceptable due to limited plot size. Must be useable with a Nautel ND 200S NDB transmitter and a Polestar PA-40 Antenna Tuning Unit (ATU). Firms having the capability of providing the antennas described above are are invited to submit technical information to the procuring office listed above within 15 calendar days after notice. Written responses, including GSA contract number, prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement must be received by this office within 15 calendar days after notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a source more advantageous to the Government is available, an award will be made with the above named vendor. A request for a solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response; however, if issuance of solicitation is determined to be appropriate, you will be included on the bidder's mailing list. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether a formal solicitation is appropriate. Responses/requests for proposal must state that the vendor is not currently on the consolidated list of Debarred, Suspended and Ineligible Contractors or otherwise ineligible to receive Government Contracts.
