Hurlburt Field intends to competitively acquire one pallet and wood shredder. Motor and drive 100-125 horse power, 230/460 volts full electrical control and starter package. Shredded product must be 3'' to 4'' in length. Must include an inlet/loading conveyer between 15'-25' in length, a discharge conveyor with magnet to remove all metallic objects, single shaft hog, be able to accept a variety of wood to include full-size wood pallets and scrap lumber to include 4'' x 4'' timbers. Discharge conveyor must be adjustable to allow for a variety of ways to collect the shredded product. Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3599 with a 500 employee small business size standard. This requirement will be set-aside 100% for small business concerns. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. Solicitation issue date is on or about 29 May 95.
