Young, (419)621-3258. The following is a list of Specifications for a
Tritium Monitor (TMS) and data logger, necessary to monitor tritium.
The TMS should be capable of sensing Tritium in either a dry nitrogen
or an ambient air background atmosphere at atmospheric pressure; have
at least a minimum Tritium detection limit of 1 x 10 to the negative
eighth power micro Curie/cc based on a 24 hour or shorter counting
time; have at least three (3) Tritium concentration full scale ranges
covering Tritium concentration levels up to 1 x 10 to the negative
fourth power micro Curie/cc or greater; capable of meeting all
specifications using natural gas (greater than 90% methane
concentration) as a counting gas if a counting gas is required;
accuracy on any range shall be +/- 20% or better for the displayed
range; all outputs and alarm shall be available through either standard
IEEE-4888, RS-232 or RS-422 output ports; supplied with a data logger,
capable of providing in engineering units, a permanent hard copy of
real time (data and hour) Tritium concentrations and alarms detected.
This solicitation is for equipment only and all responsible sources may
submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered.
