USED PROCESS EQUIPMENT As previously advertised in the Commerce Business Daily on March 8, 1995, Used Process equipment at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal(RMA), Commerce City, CO, is available for sale, dismantlement and removal from the site this summer. Equipment includes a 30MM BTU submerged quench incinerator (SQI) now in operation. The SQI consists of a natural gas fired aqueous waste incinerator, five atomizing nozzles, quench tank, quench separator, venturi scrubber, packed bed scrubber, primary and secondary continuous emission monitoring system with seven analyzers each (oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, total hydrocarbons, and hydrochloric acid) and spare parts. Also available from another RMA project are; two 3.2MM BTU/Hr heat exchangers, two 150 ACFM blowers, one 12 inch diameter 42 foot long screw conveyor, 150 ACFM ammonia absorber, a 1100 CFM packed tower scrubber (ammonia), a 13000 CFM packed tower scrubber (ammonia), a 6M BTU/Hr hot oil heater, and misc pumps (1/4hp-30hp). RUST International, Inc. under contract to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting Proposals for the purchase and dismantlement of this equipment and removal from the site. Proposals are due no later than 3:00pm MST, June 2, 1995. The Request for Proposal will be sent to the firms that provided a statement of interest to the March 8, 1995 CBD notice.
