In addition, there will be two option bid items to the contract. Option Bid Item No. 1: Dredging Egmont Channel Cut-1 from Sta. 514+00 to Sta. 531+00 to 45-foot required depth plus 2-foot allowable overdepth. Option Bid Item No. 2: Dredging Egmont Channel Cut-1 from Sta. 531+00 to Sta. 647+00 to 45-foot required depth plus 2-foot allowable overdepth, and Mullet Key Channel and Cut-A to 43-foot required depth plus 2-foot allowable overdepth. The total amount of material to be dredged for the Base Bid is approximately 800,000 cubic yards and the total amount of material to dredged for all Option Bid Items is approximately 750,000 cubic yards. All dredged material will placed in an ocean disposal area located approximately 25 miles from Egmont Channel. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000.
