The Naval Medcical Logistics Command has a requirements for two Ophthalmic Lens Generators with an option for one additional Ophthalmic Lens Generator. The generators are to be set up to cut plastic polycarbonate and high-index lenses and with the capability to provide 70 cuts per hour, 20,000 cuts per cutter. The generators are to be contractor installed at the Naval Ophthalmic Support and Training Activity, Yorktown, VA. The Navy intends to negotiate with Coburn Optical Industries, Inc., P.O.
