The subject procurement is to provide Federal Information Processing support services in the support of computing programs at the Department of Energy, Nevada Operations Office (DOE/NV) and the Nevada Test Site (NTS). The contractor will provide planning, studies, and analysis; design engineering development and implementation; operations and maintenance; user support; user training and automated information systems security. All personnel will have a ``Q'' clearance. The RFP will be issued on or about May 31, 1995. A preproposal conference is anticipated to be scheduled approximately 15 days after the solicitation issue date. Details will be provided with the solicitation package. A one-year with four one-year options, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is anticipated. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 7379 with a small business size standard of $18 million. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for small disadvantaged business concerns (SDB). Offers from concerns other than SDBs will not be considered.
