Work required includes providing personnel, plant, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other services necessary to perform caretaker operations at K.I. Sawyer AFB, MI after closure. Services may include, but are not limited to: grounds maintenance to include environmental control, ground maintenance improvement; building care to include operate/maintain/repair facilities at a standard to prevent deterioration; utilities to include electrical, communications, telephone systems maintenance, water and wastewater, heat, gas, storm drain, to include National Pollution Elimination Discharge System Permit requirements, pest control, polychlorinated biphenyls, underground storage tank monitoring, refuse collection and disposal, asbestos management; protection of resources to include entry control and installation patrol and fire protection; and pavement maintenance to include maintenance of roads, streets, and parking lots. The Government may elect to sell all or part of the plant, property, facilities, etc. A limited number of solicitations will be available for issuance and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
