In order to ensure uninterrupted availability of services during competitive reprocurement, the Navy will be issuing a ''bridge'' contract extension to its Diving and Diving-Related Services Contract (N00024-90-D-4024) with Oceaneering International, Inc., 501 Prince George's Boulevard, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. The services involve underwater maintenance on ship hulls, dry and wet welding, salvage assistance, and saturation diving, on an as-needed basis. Approximate annual contract value is $3.7M. The extension will be on a Sole-Source basis and for a twelve-month period commencing 20 July 1995 and ending 19 July 1996 (or upon award of the successor contract), with an option for an additional twelve-month (maximum) period should unanticipated delays in the competitive reprocurement require it.
