The work includes: clearing and excavation of substation site, excavation for structures, installing corrugated metal pipe, fencing, concrete, metalwork; installing government furnished power transformer, power circuit breakers, current transformers, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, duplex switchboards sections, station battery system, communications equipment, station service transformer, station service, automatic transfer switch, and outdoor ac distribution panel boards; furnish and install interrupter switch, motor-operated disconnecting switches, line trap, grounding system, conduit, insulated conductors and cables, bus systems, substation signs, indoor dc and ac distribution panel boards and microwave facilities; removing transmission line materials, furnish and install steel pole structures, wood pole structures, and transmission line spans; demolition and abatement of T9 and T10 buildings, PCB and TPH cleanup, and construct a new 26-foot by 80-foot service building. The cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All work is required to be completed by December 1, 1996. The solicitation will be issued on/about June 26, 1995, on an unrestricted basis. All bids from responsible sources will be considered. Bids will be opened on/about August 1, 1995.
