Z -- REPAIR MISSILE ALERT FACILITY M-00 Sol F3260595B0034. Due 052995. Contact Kenneth Barborak at (701) 747-5311. Project includes but is not limited to providing all transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, labor, and materials necessary for removal of asbestos containing material, pipe insulation and vinyl floor tile/mastic. Renovate the kitchen with new cabinets and kitchen equipment. Install built in wood security desk and replace windows and security doors. Construct new latrine, expand female latrine and replace existing plumbing fixtures, partitions and finishes in male and female latrines. Add air handling unit and boiler. Replace steel water pipes, fin tube radiator system and hot water distribution system. Replace steel water pipes, fin tube radiator system and hot water distribution system. Replace electrical panels and breakers. Install automatic transfer switch. Retrofit or replace lighting. Install heat/smoke detectors in the bedrooms and audio/visual fire enunciators. Ventilate attic and add insulation. Replace floorings, wall coverings, interior doors and some exterior doors. Replace window treatments and acoustical ceiling tile as needed. Remove abandoned appurtenances from roof and replace asphalt shingles and replace exterior siding in strict accordance with plans and specifications of the contract as specified in the Technical Provisions and Drawings for this project, JFSD# 956002. Plans and specifications for this project will be issued only on 3 1/2'' computer disk. Plans will be AutoCADD 12 files and specifications will be Microsoft Word for Windows 2.0 files. A list of suggested local firms able to print these documents will be available. The magnitude is between $500,000 and $1 Mil. This action is being considered for 100% set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intentions to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 19 May 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 29 May 95. All requests must be in writing and must include the business size (small or large) and whether they are women owned or disadvantaged. (125)
